Clinical data capture & registries

Swiss4ward builds regulatory-grade clinical data capture platforms and patient registries for dermatology research, epidemiological studies, and clinical trials. With over 12 years of experience in medical research technology, we deliver infrastructure that meets the demands of multi-center, multi-country studies — from early feasibility through to publication-ready datasets.

Our platform: CRF.one

CRF.one is Swiss4ward's production-grade electronic data capture (EDC) platform, designed specifically for the needs of clinical and patient-reported outcome research. It supports the full study lifecycle — from study design and participant onboarding through to data export and reporting.

Key capabilities:

  • Multi-center and multi-country study management

  • Dynamic questionnaire builder — multiple question types, conditional logic, longitudinal assessments

  • Patient-reported outcome (PRO) collection, including validated instruments such as PRIDD, PHQ-9, GAD-7 and DLQI

  • Electronic informed consent management (ICH-GCP E6(R2) compatible)

  • Automated participant reminders and follow-up notifications

  • Real-time dashboards and aggregated reporting

  • Export formats: CSV, Excel, PDF

  • Role-based access — researcher, site coordinator, industry, admin

  • Swiss and EEA hosting — GDPR Art. 9 (health data) compliant

Regulatory compliance

All studies run on CRF.one benefit from a data infrastructure designed from the ground up for health data. CRF.one is hosted exclusively in Switzerland and the EEA, meets GDPR Art. 9 requirements for the processing of sensitive health data, and supports ICH-GCP-compliant consent and audit-trail workflows. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is provided as standard.

Available as white-label

CRF.one is available as a white-label platform for organisations wishing to operate their own branded research infrastructure. The GlobalSkin Research Platform is built on CRF.one — enabling 300+ patient organisations across 86 countries to run standardised research under the GlobalSkin brand.
