Clinical Research & Registries

Clinical research - Registry - Data Capture - Analysis

The use of clinical data management systems has become essential in clinical trials to handle large amounts and various types of data. At Swiss4ward we offer our Clinical Data Management System (CDMS) software called CRF.ONE. It is a cloud-based clinical data management system, enabling researchers/investigators & patients to capture and manage clinical data. The data security is being followed according to the GDPR and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

We have experience providing clinical research solutions for registries such as SDNTT, IRTEN, HSBest, HSR-CH, ADBest-TREAT and many more.

QIVOM — Hamburg Register for Intravitreal Injection Therapies

Clinical Registry | University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) | Published 2022

Intravitreal drug delivery belongs to the most common medical procedures in Germany, with approximately 1.5 million treatments per year. Despite the scale of this intervention, systematic empirical data on treatment processes and patient outcomes were largely absent.

Swiss4ward developed the technical infrastructure for QIVOM — a centralised electronic registry capturing both patient-reported outcomes and clinical parameters across three major Hamburg eye clinics: Asklepios Kliniken Nord-Heidberg, Asklepios Barmbek, and the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE).

The registry platform enabled structured, multi-centre data collection on intravitreal injection therapies as part of routine clinical care — covering treatment processes, clinical results, and the subjective patient experience of underlying retinal disease.

The results were published in 2022 in Die Ophthalmologie (Springer), with Swiss4ward named as technology

partner.
